Sander Minnoye among eight best TU Delft lecturers
Sander Minnoye, next to lecturer and course coordinator director of design company DIDID, is nominated for 'Best Lecturer of the TU Delft'. As one of eight best TU Delft lecturers, he might receive this award at the ceremony of 13 November. At this event, also the TU Delft Best Graduate is awarded.

Literally a life-changing innovation: an ambulance drone equipped with a defibrillator. The graduation project of Alec Momont can reach the casualty within one minute, enabling emergency services to watch via a live-stream and to give real-time instructions.

Wanted: business partners for student projects
IPD Master course Advanced Embodiment Design (AED) is looking for companies with interesting research projects. In this course, student teams redesign and improve products or develop innovative products. Preferably in combination with companies, like BioMet, BBB or Zodiac.

Assemble an IKEA lamp together with a robot @ScienceFair - 28 October
Can we make a digital knitting machine that can knit any design? Or a 3D printer that prints metal constructions? Nine teams of third year Bachelor students demonstrate their research in this field during the ScienceFair on 28 October in the hall of the faculty Industrial Design Engineering.

Mind the Step: from KonneKt to cooling vest - an overview
More than 20 projects of the faculty of Industrial Design Engineering are exhibited at 'Mind the Step', the 3 TU exhibition during the Dutch Desing Week in Eindhoven. Several media visited the exhibition already and made an item about it.

The windows will be cleaned again – 3 November
The windows on the outside of the faculty will be cleaned on Monday 3 November. The company Molenkamp is responsible for the cleaning. You can recognize the window cleaners by the company clothing they will be wearing.

Because of the various activities which take place during the week of 6 November, there will be no newsletter on Thursday 6 November. The next newsletter will appear again on Thursday 13 November.
Daylight saving time (summer time) ends last weekend October -25/26 October
In the night between Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 October, clocks switch from daylight saving time (summer time) to winter time. Clocks change back one hour, from 03:00 to 02:00.
